Neurofeedback + Nervous System Training
Does Your Brain Ever Actually Turn Off?
You may be exhausted — but your mind keeps going.
Thinking. Planning. Replaying. Anticipating.
Neurofeedback gives your brain an opportunity to practice something different: shifting out of constant activation and accessing a calmer, more regulated state.
The goal isn't to make you calm all the time. It's to help your system become more flexible — so you can be fully engaged when you need to be, and actually come down when you don't.

In-Person Brain Mapping & Convenient Home Training
Maybe You Already Know How to Relax.
Your system just doesn't seem to do it.
You know the advice. Slow down. Stop overthinking. Take a breath. Get some rest.
But there's a difference between knowing you're safe and your brain and body actually knowing how to settle.
This may feel familiar:
That's the capacity we're interested in training.

What If Your Brain Could Practice Slowing Down?
Neurofeedback isn't something being "done" to your brain. It's training.
Sensors measure patterns of brain activity and provide feedback in real time, giving your brain repeated opportunities to practice different patterns of regulation.
Depending on your individual assessment, training may focus on supporting relaxed awareness, reducing excessive arousal, or improving your brain's ability to move more flexibly between states.
Think of it less like fixing your brain and more like helping your brain practice another option.
For a system that seems to have one setting —
GO.
— we're helping it discover that there are others.
How Brain Training Works:
Neurofeedback Isn't Magic. And It Isn't the Whole Answer.
Your brain doesn't exist separately from the rest of you.
Your experiences, nervous system, sleep, relationships, thought patterns, emotions and the ways you've learned to protect yourself all matter.
That's why we combine personalized neurofeedback with practical nervous-system regulation and therapeutic integration.
Brain Training
Personalized neurofeedback protocol tailored to your unique brainwave patterns and regulation goals.
Nervous System
Practical regulation tools and somatic practices designed to support physiological safety throughout the day.
Integration
Bring the change into everyday life through guided reflection, clinical insight, and sustainable habits.
Train the brain. Support the nervous system. Integrate it into real life.
The Program
A Simple, Personalized Process

1. Understand
We start by understanding what you're experiencing and, for local clients, mapping patterns in your brain activity.
2. Train
Use a personalized neurofeedback protocol from home, with ongoing review and adjustments when appropriate.
3. Integrate
Pair your brain training with practical regulation tools and monthly sessions designed to help translate what you're practicing into everyday life.
The goal isn't simply to feel relaxed during neurofeedback. It's to become increasingly able to access regulation when you actually need it.

We're Not Trying to Make You Calm All the Time.
A healthy nervous system isn't permanently relaxed.
Sometimes you need energy, intensity and quick thinking.
The goal is flexibility.
Can your system mobilize when life requires it?
And when the moment has passed...
Can it come back down?
Progress may look surprisingly ordinary:
Or simply realizing:
"I can slow myself down now."

Meet Your Guide
A Whole-Person Approach to Neurofeedback
Ryan Hayes is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Lubbock, Texas whose work integrates therapy, neurofeedback, and nervous-system regulation.
His approach centers around a simple question: Why can we understand something intellectually and still have our brain and body respond as though nothing has changed?
Neurofeedback is one tool for working with that gap.
Rather than reducing people to symptoms or brainwaves, the goal is to understand the larger pattern and help the brain, body and person develop greater flexibility together.
Clear Answers
Common Questions
Does neurofeedback treat anxiety?
Neurofeedback is not a guaranteed treatment or cure for anxiety. Research suggests neurofeedback may support aspects of self-regulation and anxiety for some people, but outcomes vary. Our focus is on personalized training designed to support greater flexibility and regulation.
What is a brain map?
A brain map measures patterns of electrical activity across different areas of the brain. We use this information alongside your symptoms and history to help inform training recommendations. A brain map is not, by itself, a medical diagnosis.
Do I have to come into the office for every session?
No. The program is designed primarily for home neurofeedback training. Local clients begin with an in-person assessment, and ongoing training can then take place from home.
How long does neurofeedback take?
Everyone responds differently. For this program, most people should plan on approximately three months of consistent training before evaluating the overall benefit.
Will this make me less driven or focused?
That's not the goal. We're interested in flexibility — being able to engage and mobilize when appropriate while developing greater capacity to settle when the activation is no longer needed.
What if neurofeedback isn't right for me?
That's part of why we start with an assessment or consultation rather than asking you to commit immediately. If I don't believe neurofeedback makes sense for what you're experiencing, I'll tell you.
You Don't Have to Force Yourself to Relax.
Maybe your system simply needs some help practicing how.
If you're in Lubbock, begin with a $97 brain map and assessment.
If you're elsewhere in Texas, start with a free 15-minute consultation.
No pressure. No promises that neurofeedback fixes everything. Just a chance to understand what's happening and decide whether this approach makes sense for you.
